Advisory
A deliberately narrow focus.
Jens Hartmann Advisory works deep in a small set of questions that belong together in complex executive situations — and that are answered best when treated as one.
One body of work, seen from four sides.
The work sits where four questions meet: executive decisions of strategic weight; the steering of a transformation — its governance, structure and cadence; the operating model and IT strategy beneath it; and technology weighed together with resilience and control rather than handed down the organisation as a technical matter.
In practice they are rarely separable. A transformation question is a governance question, and a technology choice is an operating-model question. That is why they are not offered as four services.
How a mandate is set up.
Across every mandate the method is the same: work out the situation before setting a direction, and stay close to the people who carry the decision.
-
A time-limited advisory mandate at CxO level — typically six to eighteen months.
-
Scoped to a decision or a defined phase, with a fixed end.
-
Carried by Jens Hartmann himself — one principal, not a firm, engaged directly by the decision-maker.
-
Few mandates at a time.
-
Begun with a confidential conversation that commits neither side.
-
Measured by whether the decision held, not by the volume of the work.
A first conversation is confidential and without obligation.
If a decision in front of you fits this description, that is reason enough to make contact.
